Oracle Hyperion EPM 11.1.2.4 Installation & Configration

Prepare Servers:

In Windows 2008 environments, disable User Access Control (UAC)

Modify hosts file

Disable IPv6

Preparing User Accounts:

Assign local policies--Act as part of the OS, Bypass Traverse Checking, Log on as a batch job, and Log-on as a service.

Preparing a Database:

In this case, the database server is used Oracle database 11.2.0.4

Click Run as administrator

Click OK

Click Next

Click Next

Click Next

Check the product components

Click Next

Click Next

During some time

Installation completed, Click Configure

Click Next (Foundation configuration)

Check Oracle's Driver (Thin), enter the TNS information & Foundation username\password in Oracle Database, Click Next

Uncheck Setup connection to Oracle BI and Publisher, Click Next

Click Next

Check Oracle's Driver (Thin), enter the TNS infomation and the others components username & password, click Next

Click Next (Reporting and Analysis configuration)

Enter the weblogic password, click Next (Weblogic configuration)

Click uncheck Deploy the Java web application to single managed server (If check in it, the web applications would be deployed in one web application service; If check out it, the web applications would be deployed one by one each other.)

Click Next (Essbase Studio configuration)

Click Next (Essbase Server configuration)

Click Next (Reporting and Analysis configuration)

Click Next (RMI Server configuration)

Click Next (Oracle Http Server configuration)

Click Next

Check Set the logical address for all the applications to, click Next (Logical address configuration)

Enter the admin's password  (Shared Service configuration), click Next

Review the configration components

Click Next

Configuration completed, click Finish
